Detectors i3 Series of Sensor System

The smoke detectors i3 Series™ with siren and/or relay represent a significative technologic advance in conventional detection come with enriched features for a simple installation instantaneous inspection and intelligence to deny false alarms.

All detectors of the i3 series are equipped with algorithms of automatic compensation of sensibility by soiling and mathematic adjustment of curves. Those algorithms minimize the incidence of false alarms originated by effects by short duration like electromagnetic induction and/or interference of radio frequency and effects of long duration like soiling. With the detectors are connected i3 of 2 wires to the maintenance module and loop test 2WMOD2 or a compatible panel with i3 protocol (i3 Ready™) this generate a remote signal of maintenance when a detector between in condition of cleaning and/or freeze fails when the environment’s temperature surrounds it with below 5 °C. To measure the level of the sensibility of any detector i3 the inspection module SENSRDR is used with one that can visualize in a few seconds in a numeric vale of sensibility expressed in percentage of foot obscuration.

Important note: The model 4WITAR-B photoelectronic smoke sensor is isolated from the fixedtemperature heat sensor providing a self-resetting local audible smoke alarm that does not alarm at the panel. Only the fixed-temperature heat sensor will cause the 4WITAR-B to initiate an alarm at the panel and the relay to change its state.
