System Sensor Detectors i3 Series

The smoke detectors i3™ series with siren and or relay represent a technologic advancement significative in the conventional detection come with enriched characteristics for a simple installation instant inspection and smart inspection to reject false alarms.
 
All the detectors of the i3 series are equipped with algorithms automatic sensitivity compensation by soiling and curve mathematical adjusment. This algorithms minimize the incidance of false alarms originated by short term effects like electromagnetic induction and/or radio interferance and for long term effects like dirt accumulation. When i3 2wire detectors are connected to the maintainance module and  2WMOD2 or a compatible panel with protocol i3 (i3 Ready™) this generates a remote maintainance signal when a detector enters cleaning condition and/or failure by freezing when the temperature in the environment around the detector goes below 5 °C. To measure the level of sensitivity of i3 detector use the inspection module SENSRDR with which you can visualize in a couple seconds the numerical value of sensitivity expressed in percentage of obscuring.
