Real-Time GPS Location

All users of an NXRadio call will be shown in the "Incoming call list" or "Incoming call map" view. Unlike the pre-call map user locations are updated every two seconds during the call.

Therefore the call members can see in real time the location of other PTT call participants. In addition the Map will show the location of the user who currently speaks with an alternate color Pin and the speakers name on the Pin.

Personal Groups

(group size limit is 250)

A user creates personal groups that are only visible in the creators group list. Only the creator can initiate a call to a personal group.

Member Groups

(group size limit is 250)

Member groups are visible in all member group lists. Any member of the group can initiate a call to the group.

Enterprise Open Groups

(group size limit is 250)

Enterprise Open Groups are available for any user to join. The group owner/administrator may or may not be a participant in the group and there can be more than one group administrator.

Closed Enterprise Groups

(group size limit is 250)

Any user can create closed enterprise groups and members can only be added by the owner/administrator. The group owner/manager may or may not be a participant in the group and there can be more than one group administrator.

Public Safety Surveillance Channel

(group size limit is 250)

Unicast Channels allow Public Safety agencies to broadcast important audio transmissions such as weather traffic control and any radio communication network.

Enterprise Dispatch Groups

(group size limit is 250)

Enterprise Dispatch Groups have definable time shifts associated with each day/weekday. Group members can change for each shift. Additionally the group owner/administrator may or may not be a participant in the group and there can be more than one group administrator. Users with a Dispatch Group on their Group List need to call the group and they will be directed to the group members on shift at that time.

Broadcast Groups

(group size limit is 60 000):

Broadcast groups are used to deliver high-priority messages. Broadcast Group calls are high-priority unicast voice messages. Broadcast messages will be retried until all messages have been delivered.

Adhoc Groups

(group size limit is 250)

Adhoc groups are not preconfigured groups but a selection of various contacts from the contact list. Once contacts are highlighted the user presses the PTT button to initiate a call.
